Isanti County Launches Its First‑Ever Hamfest This September

Save The Date

Amateur radio enthusiasts from across Minnesota will converge on the Isanti Community Center this fall for the inaugural Isanti County Radio Club Hamfest & Swap Meet. Slated for Saturday, September 13, 2025, the half‑day gathering promises bargain hunting, licensing opportunities, and plenty of “eyeball QSOs” (face‑to‑face conversations) for hams who have only met on the air.

Doors open to the public at 9:00 AM (vendors may set up from 8:00 AM), and the action runs until noon. Inside the community center hall, attendees can buy, sell, or trade everything from classic HF rigs and VHF/UHF handhelds to test equipment, antennas, and spare parts. Seasoned operators will be on hand to answer technical questions and share operating tips, making the event equally valuable for newly-licensed operators.

If you’re looking to upgrade your license, you’re in luck: free amateur radio license exams start at 8:00 AM sharp.
