The annual Red Rivers Radio Amateurs Hamfest is a premier gathering for amateur radio operators, and those curious about the airwaves. This exciting event brings together the community for a day of knowledge-sharing and networking. This hamfest also serves as the ARRL Dakota Division Convention. Whether you’re a seasoned ham, just starting, or interested in the vast world of radio communication, there’s something for everyone! The event will be held in the Hartl Building on the fairgrounds.

• Educational Sessions: Attend workshops and seminars led by experienced radio operators and experts. Topics range from the basics of getting started in amateur radio, Parks On The Air, and more.

• License Testing: Ready to get your amateur radio license or upgrade your current one? There will be testing sessions conducted by accredited examiners. 

• Door Prizes: Enter for your chance to win exciting prizes, including new radio gear, accessories, and other fantastic items. The raffle drawing will be held at the end of the event.
